Su, Merry Christmas to you. Happy to see your sweet home in Christmas decor once again this year. Glad I am not the only one posting Christmas pictures this winter and being okay with not getting Christmas posts up the day after Thanksgiving. I posted last night again and may still throw up a few more holiday pictures, or save them for next year and be way early for a change. Oh, your mantle is magical. I see the details and molding on it and it looks like it is related to my mantle with both of us using a gold fancy screen to boot. Is your mantle chalk painted also? I think if we went shopping together we would be trying to snag the same things. Where did you buy that adorable dog statue? (LOL). Oh, what a sweet fur child you have. Your nativity set that is flanked by angels is SO beautiful. That candelabra picture is dreamy. Thanks for letting us all see your amazing cottage this Christmas. God Bless You.
Hi, Tonita. I chalked painted it. It was new and oak, and I did a Louis blue with silver wax from art supply area. I do think we would be gravitating toward the same things! The candelabra was a vintage find. I liked that it had 5: 4 for advent and 1 for Christmas. I wish I could get a photo of the pug, but she is never is still. My toy poodle Francis is back, he was vacationing at my sister's for a few days. He is old. I think he is around 13, and we give him a break from these youngsters 2 and 3 a couple of times a month. xoxo Su
Thank you, RJ. I love the way homes look at Christmas! I really loved the colors you used on your tree this year! (The one that you posted to Instagram.) xo Su
