Madhatter Tea

It's that magical time of year again when special and unusual guests make our tea party extraordinary.

The roses are painted.

The garden is raked.

Alice and her cat have arrived.

The chairs are being set up.

The cups and saucers are gathered.

The queen is expected.

Other guests have already arrived.

Selfie time....

Flowers gathered...

The smallest guests are arriving as well.

The table is set.

Photo bomb...

Treats and Sweets

Waiting for the Madhatter to arrive... You never know what she will wear.... a memorable outfit every year.  Here's one from years' past.

Thank you, Vanessa.
I hope you enjoyed this. I am away with poor wifi, but I could not miss this, so we did a party in June. I will do my best to visit all the guests.

  19. I love the color and light in these photos. Visiting you here is always a delight. I'm wild about the crown, the hat, the tea cups. Oh and so much more. The horse is spectacular and I love the lace garland around the neck.

Tea's always on at my place. Feel free to come for a visit whenever your wifi is working.

  21. Su, I adore your party this year in your lovely garden. You are brilliant to have had it in June before the heat. We have had one of the hottest summers ever here in Central Alabama. We haven't been spending much time outside because it's either raining or too hot or too steamy after the rain! :/

I love your pretty things that make your party so special. And your photography just keeps getting better and better. LOVE the tablecloth, and the flowers and crown are a super idea for a centerpiece.

    Safe travels, my friend!

    Happy Mad Tea Party!

  24. Your party is adorable. Every detail is beautiful and charming, especially Alice. You are so wise to do your party in June. I need to do the same because it is just too hot to be outdoors for a party in July. I melt! Sadly I didn't get a party set for this year, but will be back in 2017. Enjoy your trip.

  25. It will be the best party--nothing has been overlooked and the diversity of guests will make it lively and fun and maybe a bit chaotic --in a good kind of way.
