Silver and Gold

In between baking, ballet, and school
It's also piano season here... concertos, sonatas, and so on...  Concert attire is required.  We are showing the dresses, because they are so pretty, but the festivity fits the season.
This is the first dress we found... believe it or not, it was marked down to 25 dollars. That is not a typo....children's department at Macy's.

We love to hang a dress as decor.

...and this dress that looks like a Degas.
She styled her hair in a simple, ballet bun. There are two ways to do the braid.
Braid a strand of hair in a pony tail before making the bun or use a faux braid.
She has done both. This one is made with a faux braid around the bun
with a ribbon that is woven through her own hair.

We love to display a beautiful dress.

Don't they look vintage?

    1. Thank you, Stephanie. I had to share it. So few things can these dresses be worn to these days, but she is quite an advanced pianist so the events are formal. In another year or two she will be in the long dresses. Merry Christmas. xoox
