June Inspiration

"Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered,
you will never grow."  Ralph Waldo Emerson

I made the banners, and I also made the wreath, but last year.
It's red, white, and blue for June and July.

The recycled bottles were filled with cut grasses from the front yard.

The rooster is new, and I will show you where my daughter found him in the next post.
She has collected roosters since she was a toddler,
all because one snatched her sandwich on a picnic.

  4. This looks great. There are so many pretty bottles to recycle now! I love the rooster, too. My in-laws had an egg and cream produce business for many years so my mother-in-law collected roosters. All of us women in the family seem to have joined in at varying degrees. Yours is quite special :)

    1. Thank you, Diana. When a visitor enters our house, he or she enters into the living room, but can see the dining area and the porch. That blackboard is right in the center of the room and centered with the front door, so the eye goes right to it.

  16. Love that banner! I'm obsessed with banners lately, I want one with the phases of the moon but can't find one anywhere! I am also so entranced with those straws LOL, they're so pretty, I'd never want to use them. And I cracked up when I realized you hadn't noticed the canopy at first in the my blog post :P It's there haha!

Love the bottles, I save mine when they are empty and reuse much like you, and the straws add that festive red ready for Julys fireworks.
