    1. Julie, it's so much fun! xoxo Some people do virtual ones, and most throw real parties some small and some bigger. My daughter is looking forward to it, and she is already deciding who to invite and the decor. She wants more guests this year. It breaks up our really hot summer.

  8. I read about the party last year and loved seeing everyone's posts. I will have to think about participating.

I just finished making all the party favors and decor for a Mad Hatter's Tea Party baby shower that is this weekend. And, I can't even go - it's in San Francisco and I have a dinner party here the same day.

  22. Can you give me a link to your last Mad Tea Party so I can see just what I might need to plan..??
I looked for other peoples links on V.'s site but all I could find was HER parties...no way can I compete with her....whew....awesome...I'm afraid I don't have that much magic in my soul. :)

  23. Hi, BJ. Don't be intimidated. Here's mine from last year. http://butterflyandbungalow.blogspot.com/2013/07/were-late-mad-hatter-party.html I think it was a little fancy because ours was for children and it is one of my daughter's loves, but a lot of the parties are more traditional tea with either cake, or cupcakes, scones, or tea sandwiches. Tea with family or tea with friends... Flowers on the table... There are indoor ones, outdoor ones, picnics, art ones (folk artists).... Everyone takes pictures of their tea and then everyone posts their link at her blog in the comment section on the day of the party, and everyone comes by and visits. xoxo Su
