Desert Blooms

Desert Blooms from the Garden
Because we have newer plants, and it's the desert, there are not a lot of blooms, but that didn't stop me from searching the garden and selecting what blossoms I could:
a sprinkle of wildflowers, some desert shrub flowers, some basil florets, and a few shrub roses.
Some blooms were falling apart, and some dried before they could bloom, but the result is still a sweet little bouquet in a dessert dish that has a bit of ruggedness.

Thank you!

  19. Your new header is so pretty and so are the flowers. The color combination of dusty rose and green is very pretty. I don't think I could take the dessert heat, heat and I don't get alone. Sounds like the flowers don't like it either, but you sure found a few gorgeous ones.

    1. Thank you, Cathy. I don't like the summers. Usually we get 8 or 9 months of beautiful weather, but this year we seem to be a month ahead. I don't like the summers. Summers are like other people's winters. Stay in.

  27. I see so many wonderful gardens from moister climates. Folks just don't know what a challenge it is to have many traditional blooms in the desert. Like you, we really appreciate what shows up! You have made a beautiful arrangement. Happy weekend!
