We're Late: Mad Hatter Party

Alice in Wonderland

Mad Hatter Party

"All in a Golden Afternoon",
a youthful bunny peers down the rabbit hole...
Beside him, a regal agave crown awaits its owner.

It was a long way down.

What is that?  It's a disappearing cat...

A thank you to A Fanciful Twist's Mad Hatter Tea Party
and Vanessa's party at A Fanciful Twist.

"Oh dear! Oh dear!  I shall be too late!"

for a tea party...

"It would be so nice if something made sense for a change."

Whose hat is on that chair?

Scones, strawberry almond tarts, butterfly sandwiches, with blackberries,
and salt water taffy (made from the pool of tears)...
I'll just help myself...
"Well, I'll eat it," said Alice, "and if it makes me grow larger, I can reach the key; and if it makes me grow smaller, I can creep under the door; so either way I'll get into the garden, and I don't care which happens."

Look! There is a dormouse in that teapot! "What did the dormouse say?"

Who is that?

The Hatter asked, "Why is a raven like a writing-desk?" and said,
"No wonder you're late.  Why, this watch is exactly two days slow."

Hatter's Hat Millinery

Everyone sang, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat.  How I wonder what you're at."
A little Mozart...

Do you see his sewing machine and wreath?

This is an excellent GF recipe.
My spouse omitted the nutmeg and added dried cranberries.

  9. Such a fun post - I felt like I was right there with Alice on her adventure :-) I love the twinkle effect in your pictures - was that part of your tea party decor, or did you add the effect to your pictures? Either way, the twinkles make everything look magical :-)
