A Pianist's Self-Portraits

Using the phone at the piano, my daughter shot an entire series of photos of herself.  The photos are quite beautiful, and I'm sharing some of them with her permission.
I like how she made "hearts" with her reflections.
Her piano has an ebony, satin finish, but the paint is still reflective even though it is not high polish.
In Pic monkey editing we put a spotlight on her at 85 percent and watermarked.

I have no idea how she took this one.
I think I will use one of those services to get some of these made into photos.

  2. These are beautiful - I love the first one especially, but they're all wonderful. I guess it's easy for such a beautiful girl to make beautiful pictures :-) Those eyes! And her relationship with her piano really shows in these. There's a tenderness and a belonging with each other ...

    1. Thank you, Ricki.

Oh, the sleeping porch has slowwwwwed down. This weekend it might get to be 117. I don't remember summer temps like that, except back in 85 or so. But when I get it done, I'll let you know.

    1. Thank you, Diane. The newer phones take better photos than my camera which is about four years old. However, it does not take better video than the four year old camera. Because my camera was not charged my daughter used the phone to film something she is studying, and the video did not record the louds and softs of the piece.

  9. Great shots - very creative and artistic :-) Isn't it fun to play with photos in Picmonkey? There are so many cool effects, and you can really improve a picture that's too dark or too light.
