A Fanciful Twist Mad Tea Party 1

My daughter has had a love affair with Alice in Wonderland since she was three-years old.
I'm so excited to see this party!

I'm going to start by sharing Alice's bedroom.
This is one of her many Alice books that had started to come unglued.
But now I am off to comb through an archived blog of six years in search of
 "Alice".

There are Alice collectibles in this cupboard and awards.

These are the original, stained, concrete floors.

Cheshire cat was given to my daughter by her friend and artist Lucy Swerdfeger.

A table for tea, but the tea pot is missing in this photo.

This is my daughter's painting of "Alice" saraelisbetheartist.com and Alice's dress.

Alice set up the tea table with the door mouse in the teapot.  The keys are from her grandfather and the "drink me" bottle is form her Aunt.  That's the "dodo bird" from the book; I think it is made by a Germany company.

  26. SJ, Thank you first of all for letting me know about the Pinterest issue! I checked and didn't see anything inappropriate but it is probably random? I LOVE this post. It is so strange because I read your comment, came here and immediately called Keilee in here. She LOVES Alice in Wonderland and wants to redo her room. We have been collecting ideas hence the visit to your Pinterest. We both loved the awesome pictures of your daughter. I will be back to visit!
